Brooke is the Wellness Coordinator providing intake, ongoing assessment of client needs, multi-practitioner collaborative education, and individualized psycho-education. Brooke holds a BA in Psychology from West Chester University, and a Master’s of Education with a concentration in Human Sexuality from Widener University.
Brooke began her career working with young children on the Autism Spectrum to improve their skills through behavioral tenants. After college, she made a career change that led her to rehabilitation work, specifically with male youths who had sexual offense convictions. Brooke was inspired to go back to school for her Master’s of Education. She wanted to better understand how to educate generally, but also specifically how to educate around sexuality. After graduating, she worked with teams of people who supported those with mental and physical disabilities to analyze client behavior, understand their needs, and adapt functionally to those needs.
Brooke considers herself a lifelong educator and student, finding great joy in learning and creating “a-ha” moments for others. Many people go through life having gifts, but never quite recognizing them. Brooke is grateful to say that she knows her gifts. She has the ability to see people as they are currently, and clearly hear where they want to go. Her unique ability is to meet people where they are and empathize, while still holding them to the potential of becoming their best selves. Change is not magic: it’s determination, working smarter, discipline, and support from people who believe in you. Her progressive and inspirational style of education will equip you with the tailored tools and ongoing support you individually need to succeed.
Besides her education, Brooke’s greatest accomplishments are being a mother and a wife. Brooke enjoys cooking tasty, nutrient-dense meals. She is in never-ending pursuit to better herself. She is deeply invested in fostering healthy relationships with those she loves, and is deeply connected to friends and family. Prior to being a mother, Brooke used to play guitar at open mic nights, but now she opts to stay in with her family and English Bulldog (Matilda) and watch terrible reality television.
